Tuesday was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent thunderstorm potential predicted across various areas of both states.

Health officials cautioned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
